LearnPlatform Release Notes: October 2023 Recap
This month, we released additional functionality for the new Request Workflows feature; made enhancements to Rapid Cycle Evaluation reporting; and made a new School Level Inventory Dashboard available.
School-Level Inventory Dashboard
LearnPlatform can now provide school or building level admins with access to their site’s Inventory Dashboard! This new functionality will make it easier for school-level admins to access and analyze the most relevant information about how their unique students and educators are utilizing technology, and empower them to maintain district compliance.
By enabling the ‘Schools’ module and configuring Data Management Administrators at the school level, site admins can now view usage metrics in the Inventory Dashboard for their specific site. District approval statuses have also been added so school administrators can monitor if any tools that are not approved at the district level are being utilized in their building.
***NOTE – This is a new and limited functionality solution. Work closely with your CSM to determine if this feature will meet your needs and ensure proper configuration.
Improvements to Request Workflows
Editing/Adding Reviewers to a Workflow
By clicking Edit on an open workflow tasks, admins can delete or add reviewers to a Workflow Step.
Display Automations in Workflow Details
The Workflow Details page will now display completed automations that have occurred for a workflow. The date and time is stamped so customers can track status changes and tagging, as well as emails that were sent.
Easier Tagging in Workflow Builder
When creating an automation or setting a condition in the Workflow Builder, tags are easier to find with better sorting. Tags will now display alphabetically and custom tags will display above LearnPlatform created tags.
Workflow Assignees can now be added by email address
Because it was difficult to locate some users by name in Workflow Assignees, users can now be searched by email address.
This also allows tasks to be assigned to users who do not have names captured in the system, only email addresses.
Typing an email address into the assignees or notification recipients bar will now populate any users that matches on name or email address.
Rapid Cycle Evaluation Enhancements
Additional fields added to RCE table
Admins can now access additional information for an RCE directly from the Product Analyses table. This helps admins to quickly review pertinent information from previous analyses, including:
- Usage Metric (Minutes on system, lessons completed, etc.)
- Report Type (usage, correlative, comparison, control)
Ability to view RCE Summary (when available)
RCE Reports can now include a summary section. When these are added, they are viewable from the RCE report.
Add District Name to the RCE table
For large districts, adding the district name to evidence tables helps to find the evidence report and understand the districts involved in the study.
