Enhanced accommodation assessments have several tools and accommodation features to help meet students' needs during the Mastery Connect assessment process. District administrators and assessment facilitators can manage these tools at the assessment level and tracker level

Note: If you make changes to the tools and accommodations on an active assessment, any students currently taking the assessment will need to log out and back in to see the changes.

Open Tracker

In the Global Navigation menu, click the Trackers tab [1] and then click the name of the tracker [2].

Open Standard

Configure Enhanced Tools and Accommodations

If the district administrator has allowed tools and accommodations for your assessment, the buttons in the Tools and Accommodations section will display the status of each tool and accommodation [1].

A shaded button indicates the tool or accommodation is active in the assessment [2].

An unshaded button indicates the tool or accommodation is not active in the assessment [3].

To allow a tool or accommodation, click the item's button [4].

To add a calculator to the assessment, click one of the calculator buttons and select an option from the corresponding menu [5].

To add a ruler to the assessment, click the ruler button and select an option from the corresponding menu [6].

If tools were added to the assessment as part of the question authoring process, click the Question Level Tools toggle to switch those tools on or off for students [7].

To restore the default settings that were configured for the tracker, click the Restore Default button [8].

Learn how each of these tools function and view how they will be used by students.
