Mastery Connect Release Notes (2024-12-19)

In this Mastery Connect release (December 19), Mastery Connect supports bulk Printable benchmark PDF and answer key exports, and assessment authors can preview assessments. Additionally, Gradecam enhancement has been implemented.

 New Features

Bulk Printable Benchmark PDF and Assessment Answer Key Exports

Mastery Connect administrators have bulk actions to export the printable versions of their benchmark assessments and the benchmark answer keys.

View Export Options

Administrators can select the Export Answer Keys option [1] or the Export to PDF option [2].

Assessment Student Preview

Assessment authors can preview the assessment experience as a student. This allows the author to ensure the assessment looks and behaves the way it needs to from the student's perspective.

 View Student Preview Option

Authors can open the student preview by clicking the Options icon [1] and then clicking the Student Preview link [2].

The Assessment Student Preview provides the author with item-level details, such as the standard and item tile, to allow the author to quickly identify the question they are previewing.

When authors using the student preview click the Finish button [1], they receive the scoring results by the standard. They can also restart the assessment by clicking the Restart button [2]. Or they can exit the experience by clicking the Close view button [3]. 

Note: Manually graded items are scored with full available points for the preview.

Gradecam Enhancement

For districts that use Gradecam to scan their student assessment submissions, the following enhancement has been implemented: 

• Teachers can scan student submissions for benchmarks with Secure Benchmarking Mode enabled.
