Summary
A Standards page is available, which allows District Administrators to assign the specific cores and curriculum maps available to teachers. When a curriculum map is added to a specific class, teachers are required to use that map as the source for class creation.

This feature enables District Administrators to restrict the cores available to their teachers, ensuring the use of district-designated standards.
Feature Workflow
As a District Administrator, click the Admin drop-down menu [1], then click the Standards link [2].
For each subject, click the Add Core button.
To add a core to a subject, click the Core dropdown menu and select a core.

Summary
In the Item Bank experience, educators can create assessments directly from a selection of items if all items are from the same class.

This update provides a direct and efficient workflow, allowing educators to create assessments directly from the Items Index page.
Feature Workflow
On the Items page, click the Filter button [1]. Then filter to a specific Subject [1], Core [2], and Class [3].
Select 1 or more items from the available items [1]. Then click the Create Assessment button [2].
Complete the assessment creation details and click the Next button.

Summary
AI-powered question generation is available using content from the Mastery Item Bank and Mastery Item Bank Supplemental.

Change Benefit
This update allows for the rapid creation of new, standards-specific assessment items within the Quick Reassess experience. This saves teachers time and effort in authoring item content while improving the quality and variety of assessments. These improvements, in turn, enable more effective and personalized evaluation of student learning.
Feature Workflow
In the Quick Reassess modal, click the AI Regenerate button on any question to generate a new item based on the standard alignment of the original question. When item generation is complete, a new item will display in the place of the previous item with an AI indicator on the tile.
Click on the question to preview the item.
Once selected, the AI generated item is added as a draft item in the assessment builder where additional edits can be made before publishing.

Summary
During the conversion of Canvas quizzes to Mastery assessments using the quiz conversion tool, the AI Alignment tool recommends relevant standards for alignment.

This update saves educators time by providing AI-suggested standard alignments for Canvas quiz items, streamlining the process of converting them to Mastery Assessments. This feature ensures assessments are consistently aligned with relevant educational standards.
Feature Workflow
When a Canvas course is linked to a tracker, a Canvas button. This button initiates the quiz conversions.
Navigate to Mastery Tracker, locate and click the Canvas Content tool button.
Click the See Available Quizzes button. Mastery Connect will check for valid New Quizzes or Classic Quizzes.
A list of New Quizzes and Classic Quizzes will appear in a modal. Select the quizzes you wish to convert and click the Convert as New button.
Once the conversion process completes, converted assessments are available in the new tracker assessment list as draft assessments. Open the draft assessment and review the suggested alignments in the Standard dropdown menu.

Summary
The Items Index experience is updated to include a single, comprehensive view of all items across all Item Banks. Enhanced filtering options are available allowing educators to locate specific items by criteria such as Item Bank, Subject, Class, and more. Additionally, the Item Bank table view can be customized to display preferred columns and column ordering, which can display more item metadata than previously available.

This item bank experience provides educators with a more intuitive and efficient interface for searching, filtering, and managing items and passages.

Summary
Districts and Schools are able to elect to use a 5 Tier Scale for their Mastery Levels. When this option is enabled, trackers, assessments, and reports can calculate and display mastery data in up to five levels.

Summary
The District Assessment Results CSV export is updated to include the name of the district, and the date & time the students submitted the displayed results.

The Average Percent Correct, which previously displayed a value representing the average number of questions correct, is replaced by the Avg Percent Score, which displays the mean result by the score value of the questions.

Summary
The ability for educators to message each other directly within Mastery Connect is removed on July 1, 2025. Due to low usage and the availability of more robust communication options in district tools and Learning Management Systems such as Canvas, this feature is being phased out.
Summary
Resource Pins and Playlists removed on July 1, 2025. Resource Pins allowed educators to align non-assessment learning artifacts to standards, while Playlists enabled grouping and sharing of those resources. These features are being removed due to low usage and limited alignment with assessment-focused workflows.
Summary
The Student Activity page, which displayed assessments by most recent changes for each class, removed on July 1, 2025. This change is part of an effort to streamline the student experience, as the same information and actions are available through other pages, including the Student Home Page, Student Class Assessments page, and Student Progress page.
