End of Life Features

Back to Table of Contents

Teacher & Administrator Inbox

Summary

The ability for educators to message each other directly within Mastery Connect is removed on July 1, 2025. Due to low usage and the availability of more robust communication options in district tools and Learning Management Systems such as Canvas, this feature is being phased out.

Resource Pins and Playlists

Summary

Resource Pins and Playlists removed on July 1, 2025. Resource Pins allowed educators to align non-assessment learning artifacts to standards, while Playlists enabled grouping and sharing of those resources. These features are being removed due to low usage and limited alignment with assessment-focused workflows.

Student Class Activity

Summary

The Student Activity page, which displayed assessments by most recent changes for each class, removed on July 1, 2025. This change is part of an effort to streamline the student experience, as the same information and actions are available through other pages, including the Student Home Page, Student Class Assessments page, and Student Progress page.
