MasteryConnect assessments can be used as a primary assignment type in Canvas. This change allows instructors to easily link a MasteryConnect assessment to a Canvas assignment.
While creating a MasteryConnect assignment, instructors can select the Link Assessment button to open a dialogue box that displays trackers. The displayed trackers can be filtered by Created, Collaborating On, or Archived.
Once a tracker is selected, instructors can select an assessment to link to the Canvas assignment.
Additionally, instructors can set a limit for submission attempts, select who to assign to the assessment, schedule an optional due date, or set a window of time for assessment availability.
The assignment page in Canvas displays metadata for the linked assessment. All MasteryConnect assignment types on the assignment page are differentiated by an MC label.
