Mastery Connect Online Professional Development (PD) is an on-demand learning library that provides step-by step instruction for all of the Mastery Connect features in a Canvas course format.
Access Online Professional Development
Click the Help icon [1].
To open the Online PD Canvas course, click the Online PD button [2].
View Courses and Webinars
The Courses & Webinars tab displays all offerings available to you for enrollment. On-Demand Courses are asynchronous offerings composed of written content and videos.
Note(s):
- By default, all On-Demand offerings appear on the screen, but can be filtered by Canvas + Mastery Users and Mastery Connect Users (Non-Canvas Users).
- The training material that is visible is dependent on the Subscription Training Package purchased by your institution.
View Webinar Schedule
The Live Training Calendar tab [1] displays all available live webinar trainings. Select the session's More Options icon [2] to view details or to enroll in the session. After registration, you will receive an email notification. The link will be active from the Live Training Calendar in the Training Portal 15 minutes prior to the start of the webinar through 15 minutes after the start time.
Note: Webinar trainings are only visible to Premium subscription training users.
Open On-Demand Training Course Description
To open an On-Demand Training Course, click the training course card.
View and Enroll in On-Demand Training Course
The training course card provides the following details:
- Length of time [1]
- Course Card image that communicates Intended Audience and institution (if applicable)
- What You'll Learn [2]
- Associated Tags [3]
- Course Agenda/Resource Document link [4]
Click the Enroll button [5] to be automatically enrolled in the course.
Note: There is also the ability to unenroll from a course if you accidentally enroll in the wrong course. The Unenroll button will appear on the course card after you have been enrolled in the course.
In Progress On-Demand Training Course
Offerings that you have already enrolled in or have started will appear titled In Progress [1]. Click the Continue button [2] to navigate to the On-Demand course. The course will open in a new tab.
Completed On-Demand Training Course
Once a course has been completed, a Complete banner [1] will appear. The course will no longer appear in the In Progress row. If a user would like to review any of the material covered in a completed course, click the View Sessions button [2] on the course card. This will take you back to the On-Demand course.
Note: A Badge will be awarded upon course completion with a final grade of at least 80%. This badge can be seen in the Backpack of your Canvas Credentials account.
