threshold on the new Analytics BETA - class size and number of assignments

We are running into an issue where some of our courses cannot use the new Analytics BETA because the course has exceeded the threshold which is 50,000 data points [which was described as the number of students times the number of assignments].
Which means this could impact classes with a large number students, a large number of assignments (quizzes, discussions, assignments), or both.
One particular course uses Practice Quizzes/Exams (from a publisher) which are worth no points and are optional. These 47 optional assignments, along with the 11 extra credit assignments and the 30 regular class assignments mean that for a class of 1098 students, basically blew past the threshold with the 47 no point practice tests.
Which raised some questions:
- Should the Analytics BETA ignore the ZERO point assignments?
- Or report them differently?
- Should the threshold on Analytics BETA be increased?
- Should the Analytics BETA not look at Publisher content (ie, grades that are passed back to Canvas)?
- Or report them differently?
