Linking to a course file from New Quizzes

Is there a simple and user-friendly way to link to a course file from a quiz in the New Quizzes format? (Either within the instruction to the quiz or within a quiz question.) I have been trying but cannot find one. What am I missing?

(There is a round-about and very impractical way to do it that was suggested by @Ron_Bowman for a different issue (thank you, Ron!), that seems to work for this too. But I am hoping for a user-friendly and time-saving way.)

Currently, the instructions and individual quiz options don't have the traditional RCE box like you get within assignments or discussions. That however, is going to be updated and implemented shortly per this timeline - it is scheduled for this last Q4 2022:
