Pathway Public Visibility Issue

Hi

I've got a question regarding public visibility settings on pathways. When I define a new pathway, I can choose to publish or not publish it on my Issuer's public page. The description states:

"Pathways can be shown on the public pages of their Issuer and Organization. You may choose to show or hide this Pathway on the public pages."

However, when I disable the public visibility of a given pathway, it also does not show up anymore on the public pages of badges that are linked to this pathway. 

Is this intended? I would like to set up pathways in a way that they are not listed on my Issuers public page, but still show up when viewing a specific badge associated with said pathway.
