Integration Instructions

Step by step guide how Establish connection

Run "Visual Studio" under "Administrator account". Right click on Connection managers Tab and Select New Connection. In Add SSIS Connection Manager scroll down and select Connection managers for REST Connection and click Add.

From drop-down menu Configuration select Canvas LMS and set instance to the desired instance in the server host parameter.

There are two types of Authentications defined Token and OAuth from which you can choose the Authentication type of your choice.

For Token Authentication provide Token value for the parameter Token in the grid below. For more information regarding how to generate the Access Token visit https://community.canvaslms.com/t5/Admin-Guide/How-do-I-manage-API-access-tokens-as-an-admin/ta-p/89

OAuth Authentication in the grid below click to the right of Token File field so the new button appears. Then click on the new button to initiate the token generation process. Proceeds with the steps mention here at https://desk.cozyroc.com/portal/en/kb/articles/how-to-get-a-new-rest-token

Click "Test Connection" to test your connection.
