About

Gaggle is the pioneer in helping K-12 districts manage student safety on school-provided technology. Our mission is to help ensure the safety and well-being of all students, supporting school districts in proactively identifying those who are struggling. Everything we do is steeped in helping districts see the early warning signs so they can take action to protect their students from harming themselves or others—before it’s too late. We have helped hundreds of districts avoid tragedies and save lives, while also protecting their liability.

Using an effective combination of artificial intelligence and trained safety experts, Gaggle Safety Management provides real-time analysis and review of students’ use of online collaboration platforms for email and schoolwork. We offer administrators, teachers, and parents the peace of mind that students are being protected—24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year.

Gaggle Safety Management for Canvas reviews content that students create or attempt to share, including Inbox messages, files, discussions, pages, images, attachments, videos, and links. In doing so, we identify references to suicide and self-harm, violence toward others, drugs and alcohol, and explicit content—stopping inappropriate content before it reaches other students. This helps us ensure that districts are compliant with the Children’s Internet Protection Act (CIPA).

Learn more about how Gaggle can help protect students using Canvas by watching this brief video and our webinar recording. You can also request a demo or contact a Gaggle sales representative in your area.
