Following a lapse in a subscription Wixie retains Personal Information for 60 days in order to provide for a seamless reactivation of accounts if the lapse was temporary due to organization budgeting or purchase processing restrictions.

Security Standard Certificates
The Wixie data center is an SSAE 16-compliant, SOC 1, 2, and 3 audited facility with N+1 or better redundancy on all data center systems.
Types of data collected (Personally identifiable or personal data collected)
In general, Wixie contains user accounts that are created by educational institutions. User accounts contain the following Personal Information: The user's name, a unique username for the user, a password for the user, and a grade level if the user is a "Student". The Application does not collect an email address for Students unless it is provided as the unique username by the entity creating the account.
Data Deletion Request Process
Data deletion requests should be sent to info@tech4learning.com. All deletion requests are coordinated with the user's licensing educational institution.
Third Party Data Sharing & Opt-out
Data is shared with third parties such as LMS and single-sign on services based on requests by the licensing educational institution. Individual opt-outs are handled by the institution.

Session cookies are required for the use of the Application. The Application uses session cookies in order to manage user sessions across different devices, to keep users connected to specific servers during a session, and to keep track of page views within the application.
Wixie uses Google Analytics GA4 to collect anonymous information about how Users interact with Wixie. Google Analytics may use cookies to gather information such as the pages visited, operating system used, browser used, and the device's screen resolution. All options for Remarketing and Advertising Reporting have been disabled. Wixie uses this information to help analyze how people use the application for the purpose of improving the user's experience with the application.

Customer usage analytics such as operating system and screen resolution are used to optimize development tasks to match the systems actually used by our customers.
