The Top Ten U.S. Universities use Canvas LMS
Instructure announced that Duke University selected Canvas LMS to power innovative instruction and learning experiences across its learning institution. The decision represents a significant investment in the entire Instructure Learning Platform, with implementations of Canvas LMS, Impact, Canvas Studio and Canvas Credentials to transform teaching and learning at the university. With this deeper partnership with Duke, all of the top ten universities in the United States now use Canvas LMS.

- New Quizzes API Endpoints - New API endpoints are in production and available for Canvas’ New Quizzes. With these new endpoints, integrating your tool into New Quizzes will help further elevate an already rich and engaging quizzing experience for learners. To get started, we’ve provided comprehensive documentation and API change logs.
- New LTI 1.3 OIDC Auth Endpoint - The 1EdTech specification for Platform Storage will be fully supported in Canvas in August for LTI 1.3 tools to allow third-party tools to function even when browsers disable cross-site cookies. We encourage you to begin your migration to LTI 1.3 if you haven’t yet.
- RCE Editor Updates - Phase three of our Rich Content Editor (RCE) implementation, which allows for third-party app integrations within the RCE, was released to production on June 17. For more information about this release, see our recent Canvas Release Notes.
