Introducing the Education Policy Atlas
This newly launched resource offers you insights into the specific evidence requirements for adopting education tools and interventions, and serves as a crucial first step in mapping the intricate landscape of education policies that influence technology adoption in K-12 schools, districts, and states across the US.

The Canvas Apps Discover Page Open Beta
The Canvas Apps experience has been turned on in all Partner Sandboxes, and will be released in open beta to Higher Education and K12 customers on December 16th. This new feature will significantly improve visibility of integrated tools, and streamline the installation and management process for institution administrators. To take full advantage, make sure to update your tool listing(s) in the Partner Portal with up-to-date LTI configuration information. LTI 1.3 tools using supported installation methods including Dynamic Registration, JSON, JSON URLs, Inherited Keys, and manual installation will be supported via 1-click install from the Canvas Apps experience assuming necessary configuration information is provided. Please reach out to your Partner Success Manager with any questions.
P.S. While you’re updating your tool listing(s) in the Partner Portal, be sure to fill out the accessibility field too! Public universities and K12 districts need to demonstrate that their purchased EdTech solutions meet WCAG 2.1, Level AA guidelines. Instructure is seeing more organizations requiring an accessibility statement from EdTech partners in order to renew. Adding a link to your accessibility documentation eases the burden on organizations to vet this information, and supports continued purchases and renewals of your tool(s).
