I want to know the grade distribution of my course, but cannot figure out how to do it. The analytics are not helpful. I just want to know the average score in my course.

coolcott If your Institution has New Analytics enabled, you can see the average grade for your course in that tool. When I inquired about it, I was told that this calculation is the average of all graded assignments in the course and does not account for any assignment group weights that you may be using. So, it's not necessarily the average of your final grades and may not be the data you're looking for. Another option would be to export your gradebook to an excel file and run an average calculation on the Current Score column in the exported file. Here are some guides for more information:
How do I view average course grade analytics in an interactive chart graph in New Analytics?
How do I export grades from the Gradebook? (if your institution is on the old gradebook)
