Zoom has an external LTI app integration with Canvas that can be installed by your school's local Canvas administrator or someone from your school's Online Learning/eLearning department. It is called Zoom LTI Pro. In a nutshell, the LTI integration places a "Zoom" button on your Canvas course navigation. It then displays an interface for you where you can quickly schedule Zoom meetings for you and your students throughout the semester. Once the Zoom meetings have been set up, students can click on the "Zoom" course navigation button, and they will be able to join the meetings right from Canvas.
The other option for you, if you have a Zoom account but do not yet have the Zoom integration installed, is to sign in to the Zoom website, set up your Zoom meeting, and then use the Canvas Inbox to send out the details via a message to your students.
