What types of subjects are in SIS?

What do you mean by SIS?  The only words I'm familiar with related to SIS are "Student Information System".  A Student Information System is usually a system that holds student information for a school or institution...such as student contact information, student course schedules, student grades, etc.  Is there a different meaning to SIS that you are referring to that we might be able to help with in some way?
