SIS Integration Release Notes (2023-03-14)

In this SIS release (March 14), SIS integration rollovers can be scheduled through the SIS integration LTI. 

Note: This feature set may not be available if utilizing PowerSchool SIF or Infinite Campus OneRoster 1.1 integrations. These integrations are being migrated in the summer of 2023, and rollover date surveys will be sent directly.

  New Features

Rollover Dates

SIS integration rollovers can be scheduled through the SIS integration LTI. This allows Canvas admins to schedule data set rollovers (most commonly utilized during summer) that will automatically pause and resume schedules around end of year processes in the SIS.

Rollovers can be added in the Rollover Dates section of Utilities. 

When adding a new rollover, users can input a rollover name, pause date, resume date, and select the affected roster schedule.

After a rollover is scheduled, it can be viewed in the Utilities tab. The status displays whether the rollover is Upcoming, In Progress, or Completed. Rollovers can be edited or deleted when the status is Upcoming. If the status is In Progress or Completed and the rollover needs to be adjusted, please contact support.
