Through initial investigations, and after talking with a Canvas rep, it appears that Smart Search can't be enabled at the course level. Also, if it is enabled at the admin level, it will automatically be visible in the navigation pane of all courses. How can I set the default visibility value to false, so that we can have the option to manually enable in only the courses we choose? At this time, we only want Smart Search enabled in faculty-facing courses (for training and development purposes), not for the dozens of student-facing courses.
