I’m thrilled to introduce the upgraded Canvas Catalog Category Menu, now available in the Beta environment! This release brings a sleek, brand new design alongside multiple enhancements, making category management smoother, faster, and more intuitive. Here’s a look at what’s new:
What’s New?
- Brand New Design: With a fresh, modern interface, the Category Menu is now more visually appealing and easier to navigate, making your category management experience feel more intuitive and streamlined.
- Faster Load Times: Optimized code means the Category Menu page loads faster than ever, allowing you to manage categories with minimal waiting.
- Introduction to Categories Infobox: For users new to category management or those who need a quick refresher, we’ve added a helpful, dismissable “Introduction to Categories” infobox at the top of the Category page. This guide provides quick tips on organizing categories, improving the browsing experience for students.
- Efficient Pagination: The new pagination system organizes large category lists into easy-to-manage pages, reducing clutter and making navigation faster and more efficient.
- Enhanced Deletion Safeguards: New confirmation prompts ensure that any category deletion requires user confirmation, preventing accidental deletions and giving you peace of mind.
These updates are designed to provide a more efficient, visually appealing, and user-friendly experience for all.
