The Instructure Community will enter a read-only state on November 22, 2025 as we prepare to migrate to our new Community platform in early December. Read our blog post for more info about this change.
We're excited to invite you to participate in a special survey that will help us improve the Canvas Catalog Category menu. As a valued user, your insights are crucial to us. We understand that the current version of the Category menu has not met your expectations, and we've been working diligently to create more user-friendly alternatives.
In this survey, you'll be presented with four new versions of the Category menu in the Canvas Catalog. Each version has been designed with the goal of enhancing usability and providing a better overall experience. Your feedback will play a vital role in validating these design ideas and guiding our final decisions.
Here’s what we’re asking you to do:
1. Review: Carefully examine each of the four new versions of the Category menu.
2. Evaluate: Consider how each version meets your needs and preferences based on your experience with the current menu.
3. Provide Feedback: Share your thoughts, likes, and dislikes for each version.
Your input is invaluable as we strive to make the Canvas Catalog more intuitive and user-friendly. We believe that with your help, we can create a design that truly enhances the user experience for everyone.

Please note that the deadline to fill out the survey is August 11th.
Thank you for your time and valuable feedback. Together, we can make the Canvas Catalog even better!
