A customer has requested additional Enrollment Alerts to notify them when a Homeless student withdraws.

  • ENR 020-###1 - (Alert) Homeless students withdrawals (leavers) by reason for the current month.
  • ENR 020-###2 - (Alert) Homeless students withdrawals (leavers) by reason for the current school year.
  • ENR 020-###3 - (Alert) Foster Care students withdrawals (leavers) by reason for the current month.
  • ENR 020-###4 - (Alert) Foster Care students withdrawals (leavers) by reason for the current school year.
  • ENR 020-###5 - (Alert) Military-Connected students withdrawals (leavers) by reason for the current month.
  • ENR 020-###6 - (Alert) Military-Connected students withdrawals (leavers) by reason for the current school year.

The rules would be similar in nature to rules we currently have for Special Education students and LEP students.

  • ENR 020-0320 - (Alert) Special Education students withdrawals (leavers) by reason for the current month.
  • ENR 020-0330 - (Alert) Special Education student withdrawals (leavers) by reason for the current school year.
  • ENR 020-0321 - (Alert) LEP students withdrawals (leavers) by reason for the current month.
  • ENR 020-0331 - (Alert) LEP student withdrawals (leavers) by reason for the current school year.

What kind of feedback are we looking for?

  1. An indication of which rule(s) would be beneficial for your district as you need to report this to your State Department of Education.
  2. Does your state DOE define a student as Homeless all school year once they have been coded as Homeless or do they have start and end dates for this coding?
  3. Does your state DOE define a student as being in Foster Care all school year once they have been coded as a Foster Care student or do they have start and end dates for this coding?
  4. Does your state DOE define a student as Military-Connected all school year once they have been coded as Military-Connected or do they have start and end dates for this coding?
  5. What types of data do you need to see in the detailed results columns for these rules?  I have provided a sample of columns.  If you can let us know if there are other columns that are needed for one or more rules that would be great.
  6. We have mappings for the Homeless, Foster Care, and Military-Connected flags for some states and for some Student Information Systems.  If you know the mapping(s) to these and would like to provide that information, it could be helpful, especially if we don’t currently have validations for your state/SIS combination.
