Dear Canvas Credentials Community,
To maintain a secure and scalable platform, we’re upgrading the Aurora MySQL engine to newer versions (3.05, 3.06, and 3.07). This upgrade is essential for keeping our infrastructure in line with Amazon’s latest supported versions and ensuring smooth operation for the future.
What’s Happening?
The upgrade involves an in-place engine version update for our Aurora MySQL clusters. These operations will be carried out during nighttime hours per environment to reduce impact.
We anticipate up to 60 minutes of potential downtime per environment. Critical services like badge awarding, user sessions, and APIs will remain operational during this time.
