The Instructure Community will enter a read-only state on November 22, 2025 as we prepare to migrate to our new Community platform in early December. Read our blog post for more info about this change.
As we look ahead to the upcoming holiday season, our team has been reviewing our Canvas Deploy and Release Schedule to ensure that deploys occur at the right times and with the appropriate support available throughout the process. We recognize it is important for our users to know the schedule in order to plan for and communicate updates.
Please note the following changes:
- Given the timing of our schedule and how holidays land this year, there will be no changes to the schedule through the month of November.
- With the celebration of various winter holidays and downtime between semesters for many of our users, we will be cancelling the production deployments on December 17 and December 31, 2025. Additionally, we will be cancelling the beta deployment on January 1, 2026.
- Our first production deployment of the new year will be on January 14, 2026.
- We will also be shifting our December 20, 2025 production release one week earlier to December 13, 2025. We will move forward with our December 15, 2025 beta release as planned.
- Our first release of the new year will be on January 17, 2026.
