When faculty assign a Portfolium Assignment using the LTI Canvas integration, students are only added to the roster when they launch a Portfolium assignment from Canvas.

 

This is problematic because faculty have no way to assign a score of zero in Portfolium. Instead, faculty have to navigate to the Canvas grade book and assign the grade there. The first time a faculty member creates a Portfolium assignment, it should automatically populate the student roster.
