En mi caso, lo que personalmente realizo y partiendo del caso que siempre utilizo los equipos con teclados en inglés (sin letra ñ) es, siempre configuro el teclado a nivel de sistema operativo (Windows / Mac) como inglés internacional, de tal forma las teclas del ordenador se comportan acorde a sus símbolos pero también me permiten escribir la y acentos de forma rápida y práctica. Espero pueda probarlo y les sirva!

Hello Canvas gurus! We are trying to identify the variable that keeps the language set by the student on their profile. We used to use the variable ENV.LOCALE to identify the student profile language and it used to work fine but not on the new UI. This is an example of the code we used to have on the old interface but it's not working on the new UI. if (ENV.LOCALE === "es_ES") { // Spanish text } else if (ENV.LOCALE === "en_US") { // English text } Any help will be appreciated! Thanks Matt Goodwin for your reply. Definitely, notify all the instructors of the course as soon as a new student is available in their class by email. From the admin side, be able to set email reports from the "Reports" tab with a recurrence. Some of these reports could be: List of new students by Course List of students who did not complete the payment process

Hello there! We have been using Catalog for a couple of months already with no so many students. Our question or concern is basically when a new student enrolls in a course in Catalog How can we get a notification of those new students in Catalog? Currently, what we are doing is checking the reports in Catalog and looking for new students in the courses, but we want to be notified as soon as the student is officially enrolled via email. Is there any way to send an email once a student enrolls in a course? Thanks! @farbelaez @jmunoz1 @xcotto

My top 2 features needed are: 1. More granular permissions for admins 3. Advanced Admin Search & Sort But hopefully all of them will be implemented at some point of time.

We have two issues so far with this update. One is some roles have a different behavior with no reason, and two when we link documents to text with Spanish accent marks, the HTML code is displayed "&aacute". I've created tickets for both of them, but I'm wondering if any institution has the same issues we're facing. Great job with the "Excuse an Assignment" Canvas team. A+ for you! Thanks! @farbelaez
