Thanks, @rislis - the only option for the instructor is an X to cancel the upload. It isn't getting to the point where we have the three dots.

I am working with an instructor who is using Chrome to upload a lecture to Studio. I walked through the process with him and after selecting the media file he gets the card for video showing Uploading; however, there isn't a progress bar and he has left it open for a very long time with it never changing. I had him upload his video via the Media Recording tool in the RCE and that worked but not into Studio. Is there some troubleshooting I can try on his computer as I am not able to recreate the issue? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks, Sam

Haylee - when working on our evaluation when we first moved to EvaluationKit at SJC we had a committee of faculty from every school within the college and we took the questions we had with out paper based evaluations, what faculty used in their online classes, questions from the Community of Inquiry survey, and other published surveys. Then the team met multiple times to review the questions and come up with the 20 or so assessment questions that ended up being our survey that went out to all students online or face to face. It took several months, but in the end we had an end of course evaluation that all faculty from across the college had input into. Thanks, Sam

Renee - I was taking a look at Beta and I am super stoked that they are automatically hidden in the Gradebook. This will make my faculty extremely happy! I was wondering about inactive students being hidden in SpeedGrader. Is this on the radar to be updated as well? Some faculty get confused as to whether they need to give a zero to someone or not because it is not distinguishable between a student who has not submitted an assignment and is inactive. With Saturday's most recent update it appears that inactive users are now listed in SpeedGrader which makes this issue even more troublesome. I would like the ability to hide inactive students throughout the course unless we want to turn it on to be able to see grades prior to status change, attendance records, or SpeedGrader submissions. I had an instructor report that several of her students miss the feature where the timer stays at the top of the page as they scroll through the exam. Is this something that went away with the new UI or is there a particular setting that needs to be turned on for this to work? Thanks, Sam

@palmarinich , I would have to agree with chriscas in regards to the administration of EvaluationKit each term. Once the initial connections are made, and you have good naming structure for your courses a non-it person would be able to set up the process (with training and documentation). It took me about an hourish yesterday to setup our EvaluationKit for our spring semester. It has been a great tool and we have been very happy with it and use it for all courses (face to face and online). Let me know if you have any other questions would be happy to help. Thanks, Sam

@ibagdasa - we have found a workaround to hide them. Click the gear next to the export button in the Gradebook and choose "Show concluded Enrollments" - this hides inactive students. Thanks, Sam

We at San Juan College are also experiencing this and we would like to be able to do the following: 1. Students are unable to access their courses until the Course Start Date. 2. Students, although they cannot access the course, they can still see courses they have registered for via Future Enrollments whether the course is published or not. 3. At the conclusion of the course students can access their concluded courses to be able to review course feedback, but are no longer able to interact with assignments, discussions, and quizzes. I am in agreement for this feature request. We have faculty who teach an embedded honors or service learning section with the regular students and being able to only release a module or pages to just that section would be desirable.

Eventhough voting is now closed - I would very much give this a +1! I would like to be able to create a default course navigation for what we want as a minimum for our faculty and then in that way the faculty can just update the navigation to add the tools that are needed above the default.
