Bio:
I have been involved in online education since 1999 when San Juan College offered its very first online course. I helped transition the campus LMS twice (WebCT to ANGEL and ANGEL to Canvas). I have been teaching online since 2006 and have been an instructional designer since that time as well. In 2016 I started managing 3 teams, Web Services, Media Services, and Instructional Technology at the College of Southern Nevada. My teams supported the website, all of the smart classrooms and carts, computer labs, and student support for Canvas. In July of 2020, I became the Executive Director of Teaching and Learning Services and lead a team of Learning Experience Designers and we support colleges and universities across the country with the design and development of online courses and programs, faculty professional development, and LMS administration.
