I've had an experience similar to Kona's. It "integrates" in the fact that a link appears. I originally hoped that MyStatsLab could be integrated with Canvas quizzes so we could have our online Stats course (one of our few online-only courses) use Respondus Monitor that is integrated with LockDown Browser. Unfortunately, it doesn't work that way. MyStatsLab quizzes takes you to a different environment... I don't think we're in Canvas anymore!

@shane_ohara - We've had this happen once. The student was having issues viewing annotations on Safari. At first the comments did not appear, then they appeared but floated around the page without anchors it seemed. Though perhaps a fun idea for a whack-a-mole type game, it was frustrating the student. When she switched to Chrome or Firefox, the Crocodoc annotations were there though viewing the original text was a wee bit difficult due to it's small size.

For admins, our top two would be 2 (Inactive enrollment status for withdrawn students) and 3 (Advanced Admin Search & Sort). However, if I'm an admin speaking on behalf of Midland's professors, 7 (Create Question Banks from MSWord) has the highest priority of any features other than Attendance Over Haul.

I am assuming that being able to see only the most recent submission is true of peer reviewers as well? I've masqueraded as a few of them and it seems to be true. I would appreciate it if anyone can confirm that. If it's true, I would like to include with this feature request the ability for peer reviewers to see multiple drafts.

I'm not sure why this post didn't come up in an search for Excused Absence. It may have been me adding "absence" to the search. Either way, that's why I commented and made sure to use the phrase "Excused Absence." I also posted a link to this Feature Request on the old community feature discussion - Kitchen Sink: Attendance/Roll Call : Help Center @franke mentioned several of these items in that original 2013 post. I'm trying to help any of those who commented or liked that page find this one.

I just submitted a new Feature Request for Excused Absence because I didn't see this one, and a search for "excused absence" did not find this thread. I also think kakanczu has excellent points. We've needed all of those. I know we were supposed to limit Kitchen Sink requests, but there is a lot here!

Some have used EtherPad Collaborations for this. You can set up a collaboration between one student and the professor that could be edited all semester. The one down fall is that you can't make the collaboration graded within Collaborations.

We're having issues with BBB reliably working, and we've implemented WebEx as a stop gap at the moment. We too are looking into other solutions.
