To clarify, for equity and allowing chosen names to be made available for the class, there should be a way the registered name and the student's chosen/display name are both shown for the instructor for communication and grade book. Only the student's chosen name should be visible for other roles in the course. Good idea @jerry_troupe Jerry!

Thanks for the information on H5P, Gideon. Do you know of a way to mute the Due and Points banner on an Assignment? We're trying to use H5P to track learner progress and time in the course/module. The H5P LTI tracks only in Assignments, not pages, so we'd like to mute the banner so as to not intimidate the learner as they go through the content. The idea is for a course-by-course use, not the entire Canvas instance. Thanks! --jj--

Thanks for the response, @Naomi. The reason to use Assignments is that we have a plug-in for H5P that can track the time the participant is in the assignment/course, interacting with the H5P content. It doesn't work using Pages, unfortunately. If there were an easy way to track activity in Pages we would prefer it. We've not found a way to do so with basic Canvas reporting. Thanks! --jj--

Is there a way modify the way an Assignment looks to remove the Due and Points banner at the top of an Assignment? We're trying to add an H5P page to an assignment as an activity that has no points or due date. The idea is to remove the idea that the user/reader is being assessed. Thanks! --jj--
