Bio:
I completed my undergrad in Civil Engineering and worked as a Geotechnical site engineer for two years before going back to school for my Master's in education. I worked as a maths teacher in a public school in England for three years before moving back to New Jersey and working as a math teacher in a public high school in northern NJ. I am currently working toward my EdD through Johns Hopkins. My dissertation is focused on the development of perseverance in high school mathematics classrooms through the advancement of a growth mindset.
