Bio:
My educational philosophy is inspired from purposeful, contextual, and constructivist perspectives while maintaining a high level of community in the classroom. I have a Masters in Education in Adult Education and Training from Seattle University. I teach all levels of English to language learners and designed various workplace ESL projects around the eastside of the Seattle area. I am currently teaching a high beginning English as a Second Language class and am one of the Faculty in Residence in Instructional Design at Highline College. I speak Spanish and American Sign Language. I am a second generation Filipina American, born in Hawaii and lived most of my life in Washington state. My second home is in Mexico.
