I love the idea of allowing students to anonymously post and reply in Discussions and am looking forward to that release in BETA. However, I'm not thrilled with the idea that I can't have graded discussions in anonymous mode. Many high school students won't do the work if they're not "rewarded" with a grade, so I'm wondering why graded discussions wouldn't have this functionality. In SpeedGrader, we would still have the student posts associated with their user profile, so teachers can still grade the posts.

I realize that there are always bugs to be worked out with something new, despite many efforts to make it as good as possible before rollout. So here's a bug report: I'm not liking the fact that the submission track at the top of the assignment page takes up SO MUCH ROOM! When I add maps and other graphics to an assignment, I need the student to be able to see them. Basically, the viewable space for the assignment has been reduced by a 1/3. I realize that changing the resolution and/or scale in the display settings could help, but I can't do that for every student. There's no reason for the Submission status to be at the top of the page, anyway. If it must stay there, it should only take up minimal screen space when students are actually working on the assignment. Thanks!!

I love that Canvas is being intentional in creating a better quizzing engine. However, how long do we have to wait? The problem of not being able to show a grade as a percentage seems too easy to fix NOW! This "new" engine has been on the table for over a year. Many of these posts are over a year old. C'mon Canvas! You're usually so much better than this.
