Hi @rseilham ! I'm actually a graduate from UCF and remember they piloted Canvas with one of the classes I took with Glenda Gunter. Just thought I'd mention our UCF connection! 🙂 I used the Teacher Canvas App to grade the other day and loved it! I should have went with the 7 plus when I bought my iPhone ..#regrets lol. Kona, Yes - I actually heard that we would be getting a feedback form - but I don't recall if this was from someone who actually knew that we would, or assumed ..? This was my first time presenting at InstructureCon, so I'm not sure. I found the CanvasLIVE session on the Mobile Series: Discussions in the Palm of Your Hand to be very helpful as an Instructor. There seems to be better interaction with Discussion Board in the new Canvas Teacher App as well. Although we are limited with the design aspect of our courses (online instructors teach from a template) I will definitely spread the word on this tool to other Instructors in my office. I can see Instructors finding the mobile app for replying and interacting with students beneficial as it is more convenient than pulling up their laptop or waiting to get to a computer.

This would be very beneficial! We have some courses that require group work. It's ideal to have the templates with Group Sets that copy over. Also, to have the assignment with a group submission setting enabled copy over. Currently, Group Sets in a template do not copy over, instead another Group Set (with a different name) is create. It is unknown if the Group Set will work. The assignment that was set as a group assignment kept the setting through a course copy, however it did not keep the link to the Group Set (since the group set did not copy over). Since the settings were not working when courses were copied, Instructors must set up their Group Set and Groups as part of their pre-term setup. Since the assignments do not have the group assignment enabled, students are instructed to have one students in their group submit the assignment. This requires Instructors to grade one submission and then enter grades in the other student's cell of the gradebook. The other students do not see anything from mark-up tools or comments if Instructors wanted to use those features.
