I think this would be a great feature and is the most asked question at our school. We have had to make a completely separate google spreadsheet mail merge to solve this problem. It would be great to do it all within Canvas.

Adding an option to include the observer role into the “message students who” feature inside of the Gradebook. Adding an observer role option would give teachers the opportunity to message students and their parents/guardians about assignment/quiz status in one place. This would be a valuable workflow addition to teachers who are trying to contact students and parents about grade status.

I love the new" Canvas Elementary Theming" available in feature options. It would be neat to either add onto or create a new feature that enlarged the Icons for pages, assignments, and quizzes, etc. In addition, that same enlargement to the next and previous buttons located at the bottom of the pages. I feel like it would provide even more help for elementary students navigating Canvas. Thanks!
