How do I move a quiz from Assignment Quizzes to Practice Quizzes (within the same course).The version in Assignment Quizzes is not published, so the students will not see it move.  

I think that your answer is that I can tell which is being used because they will appear in the menu as "Quizzes" (the older one) or as "New Quizzes" (the newer one).    Is this what you are trying to...

Sorry, this wasn't the question.   I want to know how to tell which version of Quizzes I am using.   Isn't there someplace I can retrieve the version number and/or name while I am in Quizzes?
