This is desperately needed - I can embed an image in this comment but I can't when I respond to a student's question. Come on! This has got to be a high priority.
It is not enough to simply change the time to include the 59 seconds of each minute. We apply a penalty of 10% per day that work is overdue. I need the system to record the number of days overdue the ...
I'm in favour of the third option. Show HOW late the submission is, not simply that it is late.
