Assign Alt Text to Images in Files? Is there a way to assign alt text to an image that you have stored in your course files so that the alt text appears wherever you embed that particular image? |

Currently learner groups have access to an abundant amount of group-specific tools via the Groups area in Canvas (accessible via Groups in Global Navigation and People in Course Navigation), including discussions that have been assigned to the group. However, group assignments are only accessible via Assignments or Modules (if they have been linked there). It would make sense to make all group assignments visible within the groups area so that learners do not have to navigate to multiple areas in Canvas to view and complete a group's tasks.

This is an essential tool to take advantage of mobile options for learning. Students are familiar with and even dependent on push notifications for all kinds of digital experiences; thus, it makes sense to include the option for due date notifications to make Canvas more meaningful to them.
