I am a fully online student so I spend a lot of time listening to prerecorded lectures or recordings of live lectures. Some professors talk way too fast and I would prefer to listen at .75 speed so I can take notes better. And for other classes the professors talk slower or I just want to skim through, I'd prefer to listen to the lecture at maybe 1.5 speed.
I propose that all prerecorded lectures should have a speed button that varies from .5x speed to 2x speed in .25 increments. This would be useful for all online students to make learning more efficient.
