It seems there are some issues when a teacher leaves the district. Not sure about Office360 materials, but we are seeing an issue in Canvas with Google Assignments LTI 1.3, where students are unable access ones created by the new teacher, getting a 400 error with "malformed" message.

@KM2020 It was not. This is a poor option. Modules should either be created at the top or have the option to be selected. Scrolling down and moving is unnecessary and cumbersome, especially with their current glitch with the kabob and accessing the more options.

Yes, and about 10 other things that other LMSs do better than Canvas. Very frustrating rolling out Canvas to teachers and repeatedly saying, "No, Canvas doesn't do that or it takes several additional clicks and minutes to do that. Yes Canvas is supposed to be better. It does do many things exceedingly well, but I know some of the regular tasks that you do and need most are exceedingly painful"

I work in a large district and am in a large HS. This is a frequent complaint.
For teachers over the course of a semester or year, that is a lot of scrolling to just click...click...click to move.

THX! RCE in an Assignment, I assume?
When student goes in, it creates their copy and teachers can see/monitor?
In RCE, it seems there is no way to pop out in a new tab? Students could, after opening, go to Drive>Recent I guess?
Teacher navigation? I'll test with a teacher fairly soon and will be able to determine, but like a heads up. Making a quick vid for teachers to set up now.

Thx! Had considered this, but am curious of teacher access throughout the writing, ability to evaluate/grade and organization(in a folder in teachers Drive).
All of these things can be done, of course, through various steps, but want a fairly seamless experience.

Canvas may be the most time consuming instructional design LMS due to the tedious process of "Copying" :

Repeat for each course
Then go back to each course and to grade and set open, close(availability time), change unlike Schoology where in linked courses it was simple to go between classes for grading and teachers were able to set various materials/items settings – published, available, etc. Also have to change Assignment group from Imported Assignment.
Using a checkbox or dropdown to ad to multiple course and be able to choose within a single interface would be very helpful. See screenshot

Prepping for some traing moving from Schoology to Canvas; we thing some color symbols would be helpful. I a Chat now and:
I was checking if we have a workaround for that, and it seems that emojis are only black/grey when the text is in bold, like in headers. Also, it seems to be related to using Chrome in Windows.
Yes, based on what I found it happens on Windows, but shouldn't happen on MAC. I haven't found an answer for Chromebook.
I was also interested in a Compressed view as default. No on that apparently.
