Hello Ellen, Thank you for bringing that up. As a matter of fact, I have been working on this recently because this format I have right now does not work on Mobile at all. I tried to add javascript to enable automatic resizing, but It is hard to do so with canvas. The only solution I found to be working is to host the .html(the one with the Javascript) file for the image on an external server and then use the Iframe method to publish it on canvas. It seems like canvas can't quite handle my javascript. There are plenty of free hosting services out there, butter yet if your institution can provide you with a server space. Just make sure that it's an (https) server because (http) won't work for canvas Iframe. As for accessibility, it will not be readable by normal text recognition software because it's an image. There might be an advanced text recognition out there that can read text on images. If you have any idea on how you can solve these problems, I would be very interested in knowing what you come up with. blessings, John

Hello Stefanie, Unfortunately, I have not tested with course copy. The way I chose to go about it is to create zip file containing the image file and the source code so it can be uploaded to the course.

Update! Previous issue: all buttons downloaded had the same file name which made it confusing to distinguish between them. Update: the button text is now included in the file name. so each button you create will have a n unique name. Blessings! John Nassif jnassif@llu.edu

I came up with this idea of a website that will help my canvas users to Create Simple Buttons. I also wanted to integrate it somehow with canvas. I was able to build the site and then I used the IFrame function to pin it to my canvas page. Here is what I came up with. Click here if you are interested in using this into your canvas page simply follow these instructions: 1. create a new page 2. Make sure you're on the HTML Editor section 3. Place this code in your empty canvas page: <p><iframe src="https://buttonmaker.000webhostapp.com/" width="100%" height="600"></iframe></p> Hope some of you find this helpful! Before I start with my blog, I want to give credit to Huston Hall from Eastern Washington University. His online post inspired me to do this. I wanted to create this blog because I did a lot of online research and could not find everything I needed in one place. I was looking to improve the over all quality of my canvas page design as well as adding new feature to my pages. There are a lot of different tutorials online on how to include different HTML elements into your canvas page, but I will be sharing with you here everything I have gathered as well as some tricks on how to make the process easier.
