I have do the same thing. It took a few trainings to realize that was the best way 🙂 I set my courses up for self-enrollment as well. Always looking for new ways to use Canvas.

We have it set up that way. We talked to Savvas and they sent us the information to set up the LTI. I would have your Canvas Admin reach out to Savvas. It is an easy integration.
