Hi Eleanor, I'm not aware of any issues currently but if you suspect so, you could check TII itself via their website. If this has happened only to this specific assignment, it could also be the file itself that is corrupted or something. TII does not like having dates changed and no due date is also an issue I believe. I would expect the 3rd assignment to work since it is new. If any other submission in this or other assignments do get a score, I would doublecheck the uploaded file and ask TII support if there is something wrong with it. If you have the same issue with other submissions in this assignment or in other assignments, you can ask TII support to have a look. If they can not fix it and submissions have ended up in TII but scores have not been written back to the assignment, you could ask Canvas support to push them through. Hope this helps!

Beste @b_a_s_oldedubbe Vanuit de student view zie je volgens mij sowieso het slotje, omdat de student view op een aantal punten beperkt is (het is een view, geen echt account). Voor de betreffende student zou je even kunnen vragen of zij het probeert in een incognito window in chrome (ik ga er vanuit dat zij wel weet wat zij moet doen om zich aan te melden en dat er geen max aantal op de groepen zit of dat die nog niet bereikt is). Thanks so much @dhulsey I think it has more to do with changes in the assignment. We usually let generate reports after submission as well. As far as I can see now it happens only with assignments with multiple dates and changes in dates. It seems like TII does not really loves this kind of set up so I advise now to make separate assignments instead of adding a date as a workaround. They have one assignment unpublished without TII so they can easily duplicate it and the classes are not large so they only need a minute or so to add a new assignment for a different date assigned to selected students.

Hi, We have had some of these caes too - according to both Canvas support and TII support this seems to happen when the assignment has been changed in between but I am not sure if that is really the case. It seems that at certain moments the connections simply time out and after 14 attempts is just a no. Canvas support could help us push the scores through (if that did not work we needed to contact TII support). I am still trying to find out what causes the time outs. We found sometimes working with more than one assign to field there seems to be more cases like this (eg student 1, 2, 3 have a different deadline than student 4,5,6 so you have more assign to fields). I'm curious to know if there is more to this so will be following your post... best, Gerdien

Hi Erin, I'm not sure why you would want to add a rubric to the commons but I assume you want the rubric to be available everywhere in Canvas. If you have created a rubric already, you should be able to find your own rubric when you add one. See https://community.canvaslms.com/docs/DOC-12861-4152724129 - it explains how to use the Find when adding a rubric. You can also (ask to) add a rubric to an account so every teacher in the account can use the rubric. How do I manage rubrics in an account? I hope this helps!

Hello Michele, Assuming that you want to make a video of yourself: You can find the rich content editor in assignments, in discussions, in announcements (if you are a teacher), in quizzes (for teachers). In the rich content editor you can record a video of yourself, see How do I record a video using the Rich Content Editor as a student? Or when you are a teacher How do I record a video using the Rich Content Editor as an instructor? Please note that some institutions may have the new rich content editor in use already. Hello, Since we are working on automation and will start having a connection between our SIS (Osiris) and Canvas, the SIS admin asked us to set up terms that match those in Osiris. Unfortunately, we have no terms set up other than the default term for our current subaccounts and courses. This will mean that we will have to add terms and ideally apply those terms to subaccounts with existing courses whereas the guide describes terms will have to be added before there are courses in the account. Is it possible to change courses from the default term to a newly added term and what is the risk if doing so? It will probably be only for the courses of this academic year and we are currently not really making use of terms in grading book, analytics, reports etc. Starting academic year 2020/2021 we will have everything in place before courses are added. Hi Jason and Josh, Some of my colleagues experienced the same and we could bring it down to the browser being not supported. In our case they had a not supported enterprise version of Firefox running. Updating the browser to the newest consumer version solved the problem. Hi Emily, if I understand your question right, you have issues with old accounts that need to be accessed again by former students. I think it depends on what kind of set up your university uses and whether you use the free for teacher Canvas environment. I would ask your IT department about this. We use Canvas for continuing education (I suppose you mean with continuing education that students start a new program after graduation?) for both degree programs; it depends on the start date of the continuing education after graduation whether old accounts can be used. Same here - whenever a student or teacher encounters problems, we ask them to clear the cache of their browsers, and to try again in an incognito window in Chrome or Firefox. Solves problems a lot of times...
