Hi All! I'm trying to get the Parent App to work. I've paired the observer and the student. But the Parent App is showing that the learner has not submitted ANY work, when the learner has submitted a lot of work. Logging on from the browser shows the right data, but the app is not caught up. What is the fix?!

I'm looking for a solution to this as well. Admin should be able to do it from the Account User Details and not have to go into . each . single . course. That's like 50 courses PER learner to pair to just one observer. (In Vocational Ed the Observer app will be the Workplace Trainer.)

@BenFriedman Thanks for this! Is there an update when the "straight average" will come out and be available? I'm in NZ and we can't really use the Outcomes until this is available. (We're in VET, and need ALL items/alignments to achieve 100% in order to meet mastery.) Also, will we need to know ahead of time how many 'items' there will be when creating the Outcome? Because that will be hard to determine and take lots of editing each time a new 'alignment' is added. Thanks so much! Cheers.

I'm looking for the same thing. There is no Programme overview possible in Canvas at the moment. It's super frustrating. I like your spider map idea! That would work for my modules as well. Let's hope Canvas will address the Progress/Tracking/Programme Overview soon.

The RCE that I see when I'm editing/creating a New Quiz does not have the option to insert or add any course files. How do I direct the learner to download a file, have their trainer complete it, and then reupload it? The question type is File Upload, but in the directions I should be able to point them to a Course File so that they can download or at least view/print in a new tab. This functionality is in Classic Quizzes, when will it be coming to New Quizzes? (Thanks for all the work in NQ @TamasBalogh !)

In the Vocation Education sector this would be greatly beneficial, as sometimes the cost is split between the apprentice and the employer. And for a programme that lasts 4+ years, being able to pay in instalments over a longer period of time would be greatly beneficial.

Really need a follow up. Can't believe this isn't a fully native feature yet. Almost all education institutions I can think of offer electives.

Just here to second the idea of getting this implemented for the browser. Very handy for our instructors (teachers, trainers) to be able to see OVERALL progress against all enrolments, as well as the learner.

This is good in theory, but I don't know what Course it would be put in (as each Unit Standard is a separate Course). The Site Visits are not Unit Standard specific. Also, not sure making a New assignment for EVERY learner 4 times a year, all with different "due" dates, is a very efficient use of time. I still think there should be a Learner specific 'home page' with all of their contact info (would be great to put non-USA phone number in), communications, over all progress, etc. that ONLY the learner and the instructors could see. And isn't tied to any one course. **someday**

We definitely need Immersive Reader across quizzes. Would be amazing if it worked with SCORM files as well! We have ESL learners and they would benefit from converting the quiz language so that it's more understandable to them. I understand this is more complex, but even just reading it out loud in english would be beneficial for them. Please add this feature.

Is there a way to add a duration to a Course after it's been manually created? Or during manual creating of a Course? Each of our learners are enrolled through admin, but on different dates. So each learner has their own course dates, but they all need the same duration. Whether they start in January or July. All I can see is the "pick a date" option for start and finish. I want to enter "number of days" or "number of weeks". Cheers!

Is there a way to create a form that the TEACHER completes? I need to have a Teacher fill out a Progress Report for each learner when they sit down and have a meeting with them. It's not tied to a Course, but to the Learner. Even a repeatable survey would be a workaround. But as far as I can tell, there are is no way to have forms (I can't require my learners to all have a Google account) or any method for teacher feedback to a learner that isn't tied to a specific assignment. Please help!

Is there a follow up to this? I can't find any reference to this feature anywhere and we have huge programmes (containing 50+ courses) that have elective courses. Really needing this feature.

It's now just floating in space, only to be found under Assignments, and not associated with a Module within the course. Bit of a nightmare really.
