Instructional Designer for Emporia State University and a technology researcher. I also am an adjunct professor teaching in the Instructional Design and Technology department. I'm interested in digital badges and gamification at the moment, however, I'm always interested in new topics that relate to retention and student success. Prior to Emporia State University I served as the Director for a large TAACCCT grant through the Department of Labor at Butler Community College. In this grant, we transformed the online learning environment to have a Cisco telepresence.
