I agree!  Every single time I login I have to dismiss a bunch of pop-ups, even after I've clicked through the **bleep** tour. Its super annoying and I'd like to know how to dismiss permanently!

Seems like it has been QUITE A WHILE since this was reported to Canvas, and still no fix???  What's the delay. This is really really annoying!

Amazingly, it has magically stopped for me.  I didn't do anything -- did Canvas fix this issue?  I'm checking with my co-instructors to see if it also stopped for them.  Tentatively optimistic...
