I have a teacher who is unable to have students annotate on a PDF, the option is grayed out. However, I created an assignment in one of my demo courses and a demo student (that is really me with a gmail address) was able to the annotate. The teacher's PDF's were all from Teachers Pay Teachers whereas my demo was one that I created. I suspect the root problem is that the ones that cannot be edited came from TPT. Any ideas or thoughts would be greatly appreciated! The first screenshot is from the teacher's class and the second is from my demo class.

@akrems , the exact same issue. Have tried on Windows 10 laptops, iPads, and personal devices and the issue remains the same. As you said, the workaround is to embed; but, then the responses will not show in the Speedgrader.

@hokanssl, yes the same is true for me. Unfortunately, the sliver that I can access is rerecord and not, "Next." I have used the workaround of creating in Flipgrid and embedding. Easy enough, though that option will not show the videos in the Speedgrader.

When using the Flipgrid LTI, the option to proceed after recording will not show on the screen. This was not an issue two weeks ago when I last used Flipgrid; but, now, as you can see the menu options on the left of the screen are barely visible and the option to click Next on the right is off the screen. There is no way to scroll, reducing the zoom does not work, nor does using a browser other than Chrome. We can still integrate by using the Flipgrid website and embedding; but, many of my teachers like the functionality of the app. Any ideas or suggestions are appreciated!

Good morning, My institution recently switched to Google SSO and the site to create a parent observer account is https://greencastle.instructure.com/login/canvas. Parents are able to create observer accounts through a browser but are unable to login to the Parent App as they: Type Greencastle at the Find My School screen which takes them to the Google SSO for students Type https://greencastle.instructure.com/login/canvas but get a blank screen on the app Bullet #2 should fix the problem though it does not. Any thoughts or ideas would be appreciated! Thanks in advance.

Good afternoon! When our Canvas instance was initially setup, student and teacher logins were set to a domain specific login (e.g. - cshields). We have switched nearly every other service to Google SSO and are considering switching Canvas as well. The Google email addresses are the same email addresses currently used by Canvas and are an extension of the current login (e.g.- cshields@***********.k12.in.us). We currently have a number of parents connected as observers and many of them use the parent app. Does anyone know if switching to the SSO would impact observer status and/or the parent app? Would parents have to connect with their student again after the switch? I found this article, which is close; but, isn't quite the same problem. Best, C.J.
