When importing from a shell how can I have links automatically adjust to the new class shell? Our campus gives us development shells. I use course links to navigation tools, pages and modules. How can I get these to automatically convert to the new shell? I really don't want... |

I am having this same issue, especially if students use a phone to record, they are TINY. There used to be an option to have a "pop out" of the video that was useful, but that disappeared a while ago...it was a GREAT option. now I either take over the entire window to view a student (and can not see my rubric to take notes) OR it is a small picture no matter the size of the browser window. (I teach sign language so this is really critical!)
Please go back to the "pop out" option or allow us to grab a corner of an embedded video to resize it. This is critical to grading my class.

I teach Sign Language. If I can not embed media, I will not be able to teach online. This is VERY disappointing...

I want to use a Rubric on a Discussion. In the discussion I have peer reviews assigned so all posts to the discussion will get comments. I just found out though that MY rubric is also a part of what the students have to fill out for me to see a "checkmark" on the peer review list that they completed the review. Is it possible for Canvas to develop the option of instructors checking a box on the type of peer review the students give (respond to their peer in the discussion, respond to their peer in the private comment/grade area, and then if we want free form comment or rubric in the private area -- meaning the instructor has their rubric, but it may not be appropriate for the students to use.) I'm not sure if I am being clear, please ask for clarification if need be If I don't use peer review to match up students, how do you ensure that the last couple of posts in the discussion will get peer comments? Thank you in advance!

Kona, Thank you for your response. Do I need to export the 'dev' class and then import it to my live shell? I have been going into the 'live' shell and copy course from my 'dev'. I am assuming I am doing that incorrectly and should export and import? Thank you for your assistance! Charlene
