My canvas page continuously tells me there is "new activity" with an upwards arrow toward past assignments, but when I go back to check, all of my assignments are completed. There are some announcements that have not been clicked on, but I already read those in the canvas email notification, so I do not need to view them again. Because of this, I marked them as completed, but Canvas is still telling me there is new activity.
If the "new activity" message would only show up when there has been an assignment/announcement not marked as complete, that would be more helpful, and I would not constantly think that I am missing a new assignment from my professors.
