Thank you for sharing your observations so clearly, and your observations are similar to the experience that I am observing as well.  1. The Turnitin End User Agreement box is small and easily missed by students. yes - it is so easily missed 2. File uploads the appearance of the tiles is different for this option than for other submission options - the Upload tile is selected and highlighted whereas if other options or combinations are chosen, all tiles are unselected.  the Upload option of clicking the rocket ship is not clearly obvious I never thought I would be writing advice to students "Click the rocket ship to upload your file"!  3. Assignment status wheel is confusing to students agree - at first I though ok that's neat, but when it doesn't progress until students view feedback it kind of doesn't gel 4. After the initial submission of an assignment, the submit button changes to "Try Again".  you nailed it - "Try again" is like a quiz show "bah-bong" "New attempt" would be so much better I would also add that the ability to collapse and expand the rubric and details is welcomed, but these clickable options are not visually prominent or inviting. ... I like this new approach to the format of the guide pages, with related content on the left, and anchor links on the right. Something that I find challenging with the Canvas approach to guide pages, is the use of paragraphs instead of dot points. Numbers that coincide with the numbers in the screenshots are visually difficult to find. Text is placed with minimal white space underneath images, and combined with the use of paragraphs, scanning for the needed information can be a challenge This attached screenshot shows an image of a rubric with numbers on it highlighting features of a rubric. The text underneath the image on that page reads: For each criteria item, select the rating that fulfills the criteria [1]. The number of points will update in the points field [2]. If you want to add a comment for a criteria item, click the comment icon [3]. When you are finished, the rubric shows the total points at the bottom of the window [4]. We are also looking at this. One solution is to have a Question Group (we are using Classic Quizzes) to randomly assign questions to students, and the questions include the link to the respective paper. The next step is that we want markers to be able to mark one paper - eg Marker A marks Paper A etc, but no automated way of doing that as all of the quizzes are the same value.  This must be an issue for others - keen to hear ideas!   ... There are many elements in the student Grade screen. I feel like it would be helpful if the right-hand sidebar was delineated and could be hidden this would help. Also the Assignment Groups are in both the sidebar and at the bottom of the screen - could these elements be combined?  I also feel that the checkbox to "Calculate based only on marked assignments" and the resulting on-screen change are not easy to grasp initially. The percentage value for each Assignment Group, for instance, is not shown when this box is unchecked.  Add to this the opportunity for students to add 'What if' scores, and a range of icons indicating access to rubrics, feedback, and notices, and there is just a lot happening in this screen.  ... I think the error message is associated with your course not being published yet. I have spent a fair bit of time testing the Podcast feed option, and I really can't see any advantage when we have Studio in our Canvas environment. I had to Download and install iTunes, and I can see the Feed in iTunes but the recording doesn't seem to be playing.  If recording in Studio, at least there is the option there for captions to be created as well as the media being right there in the course site, and staff and students can subscribe to the discussion feed in Canvas.  Keen to hear if anyone is using Podcast Feed successfully and in what context. Also - if I want to use a Podcasts app on my phone, I can't copy the URL for the Podcast Feed isn't visible so I can't copy and paste it into the Podcast app.... ... View more
