        A name change option would be convenient, particularly for display name. While keeping it on a professional level, it would be easier to have an option to put a preferred name or to be rid of your middle name when it comes to display name purposes. Such a thing would particularly be useful when there are multiple students with the same first name, or if a student prefers to be called something other than the name Canvas automatically installs.   🔎 This idea has been archived.
